HI, I am 44 year old woman with a zest for life. I have many varied interests, including photography, art, writing, cooking/baking, hiking, dancing, swimming, reading, service, recovery, spirituality. My kids crack me up daily, and all my hard work is so they can enjoy the best of me. I have three: a girl, 13, and two boys 11, and 9. We have a good time together.
I joined the site because at a year and four months of recovery (AA) I'm ready to date on a whole different level.
I've been divorced for four years, and after the divorce, I began to drink alcoholically, building on years of not feeling comfortable with-in my soul. Now, I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to surrender and turn my thinking around. I never believed I could be this happy and content by living day by day.
I lived most of my adult life as a teacher, and now am earning my living by waitressing and selling my wares at craft sales. I also am in training to become a foster parent.
I hope to meet someone who is interested in creating a relationship based on communication, healthy give and take, and respect.
