English is my fourth language so my grammar leaves a lot to be desired. I grew up in Europe until I was in my late 20's. I ended up in NYC, New England, Pennsylvania and finally moved to the Cape. I am a collector of Antique furniture, I used to restore antiques. Enjoy sailing around the islands. I am adventurous, enthusiastic, fun, have a dry dark sense of humor. I am told I have a very calming, soothing effect on people and that I can be counted on. I don't like to watch too much TV, or sit around all day. I am a reformed political news junkie, mostly international affairs. I am passionate about my principles, though I am far from perfect. I am shy and reserved at first, definitely not boring, nor fake. I am interested in friendship and prefer taking things slow, in my experience relationships don't always last but I have many friendships that have spanned 40 years ! Love to read. Enjoy watching sports. Football, basketball, tennis, golf. Movies. Walking, biking and dancing are my exercise. Ballroom Adore dancing ! (Not into clubbing or partying.) Just dancing !! My taste in music: Baroque chamber music, Opera, Flamenco, Fado. Jazz, Classical, R & B, Dance, Latin, Bluegrass, Hip-Hop, love old House, not into Techno maybe a few rare exceptions etc...et Fist meeting in 83 got sober in 1987, 28 september.
