One Day At A Time Thanks to the fellowship and the recovery principles I have been clean and sober since March 21, 1991. Some day's are tougher than others, but I know that someone somewhere has it tougher, and all I have to do is not take that first drink or drug. I know my story is not unique and every day sober is one day closer to my next drunk or high if I fail to do the next right thing. All of this sounds cliche' but it is simply the truth. I have to keep my program simple because left to my own devices I will overcomplicate it and end up all scewed up. I divorced a woman I was married to for 10 years who was supposed to be in recovery, but I found out dring the divorce had been using the whole time we were together. You would think that it would turn me away from women in recovery, but it has been my experience that women not in program are just as screwy as I am and don't have a clue what living in recovery is about. So I guess I've developed the attitude of, "Better the devil you know.....". So if you are a lady in program with some time working the steps in your life and you'd like to get to know a man with some quality recovery time let's talk and see where it leads.
